Four Days, 35 Hours of Bachata & Salsa Dancing!

The only "pop-up" Latin Dance Festival in the US! With 8 locations, it's not your usual festival, it's different. No matter if you are a beginner or advanced dancer we have something for YOU! Dance classes for every level including a beginners package, dance parties, concert, and more are all waiting for you... at the beach!

World-class instructors, dedicated Beginners program, performances, Live Band, local and out of town dancers, amazing Guest DJ's, contests, surprises, Hampton Roads first locally sponsored Latin Dancing extravaganza!

THURSDAY

Pre-party at Virginia Beach Winery located at 1064 Lynnhaven Pkwy #110, Virginia Beach, VA 23452

8pm to 1am

Dance Lesson 8pm to 9pm then party to 1am!

This night is included in the Full Pass or $15 at the door.

Food Truck: Cups Up! It's their 3rd year with us and always a hit! Turkey legs, Lobster tail, Smoked brisket, Bang bang shrimp & more!

No outside food or drinks allowed.

Theme: Glow Party! Wear something white or bright!

FRIDAY

We kick things off with two special classes at Elevate Performing Arts Center located at 228 N. Lynnhaven Rd, Suite 122, Virginia Beach.

7:30pm - Ronald Rios (DC) - Salsa On1 Body Movement & Shines Master Class

8:30pm - Darlin & Keila (New Jersey) - Salsa THROWDOWN! Modern song fusion of different styles/genres. Fun and energetic! (High level)

These 2 classes are $25 each. Not included in the Full Pass and spots are limited so book while they last!

Then, it's the Official Welcome/Meet and Greet for our visitors and instructors.

Location: Maracaibo Bistro & La Oficina Steakhouse located at 2876 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.

Two restaurants, side by side, one Salsa and the other Bachata. Bounce back and forth all night long with plenty of parking, food and drinks at both locations, 4 DJ's all night long, meeting and dancing with the BVSF instructors and DJ's all night!

10pm to 2am

Night party is included in the Full Pass or pay $25 at the door.

SATURDAY

DAY: 7 hours of Salsa & Bachata workshops to include a deep dive into musicality and body movement, turn patterns, footwork and more from world class instructors!

*** Full Pass is for Intermediate/Advanced Dancers ***

Don't know how to dance or just started? Don't worry, we got you. Register for our all day Beginner's Festival pass! 9:00am to 4:30pm. There is something for everyone! All workshops and party are at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on this day.

*** Saturday Workshop Schedule ***

Location: 1000 19th St. Virginia Beach.

*** Note: No outside food or drink is allowed inside of the Convention Center but there are places nearby for lunch and dinner. ***

After the workshops is a dinner break then comes the main dance party with performances a Live Concert by 2x Latin Grammy Nominee, Ronny Mercedes performing Salsa, Bachata and more! Plus, a cash bar available.

Workshops from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Doors re-open at 7:15pm for a special Sensual Bachata Master Workshop with Pedro & Noe from SPAIN! (Make sure to add to your pass)

Workshop starts at 7:30pm. Dance performance shows begin at 8:45pm until 10:00pm.

Live Concert with 2x Latin Grammy Nominee, Ronny Mercedes from 10:00pm to 11:00pm.

Open dancing to 4 Dj's playing Salsa, Bachata & more until 2am!

Workshops and Night party is included in the Full Pass.

Otherwise purchase night party pass to attend the concert, performances & night party.

SUNDAY

Are you team no sleep? Then join us for a Sunrise Social 5:00am to 8:00am on the beach! We know the night party just ended but go change your clothes and meet us 35th street on the beach!

Watch the sunrise over the Atlantic while dancing with all of your new friends.

The party moves to Java Surf at 1807 Mediterranean Ave at 8am to 11am for our Mimosa Party! Included in full pass or $15

Afterwards, the Official After Party is at LunaSea on 22nd street from 11am to 4pm!

Location: LunaSea located at 206 22nd St, Virginia Beach, VA, 23451.

Parking in any lot nearby!

Time: 11am to 4pm -

**Rain Location: Inside LunaSea upstairs.

Theme: Shorts & Tanks attire!

Sunday!

11 hours of dancing to end the epic event! Sunrise social at 5am followed by our Mimosa Party then off to the Official After Party! Are you ready?

Esme Bio

Bachata singer-songwriter Esme (Elmer Abreu Suriel) fuses the music of his Dominican land with the colors of New York to create his own sound. Originally from Constanza, Dominican Republic, ESME immigrated to Queens, New York at age 8. The multicultural atmosphere of his new home influenced ESME's musical tastes and production. Spanish-language artists such as Julio Iglesias, Ricardo Arjona, Juan Gabriel, and American pop stars Bruno Mars and The Weekend shaped ESME's own music. He brings these influences to his first bachata album. ESME's unique sound along with his edgier lyrics, mark a new direction for modern bachata.

ESME is a multi-talented artist who knows the value of hard work. When he was young, he worked in places as varied as a laundromat, pizzeria, and shoe store to help his single mother care for him and his siblings, and pay for study time. At the same time, Esme took every opportunity to learn about the music industry. This helped him stay independent and tour around the world, With over 60 concerts in 2019.

ESME, who has been writing songs since the fifth grade, brings this same energy and work ethic to his music career. In 2021, Esme started his own record label, Los Elegido Music, inc. which he is planning to use to help develop the new generation of bachata. The first album to be released by his record label will be called, Sangre Nueva, in which he intends to do the impossible, uniting 16 Bachata artists in one album.

Esme’s momentum has already led him to a strong social media presence. He has a stream count of more than 11 million on Spotify and more than 25 million views on YouTube.

There are many hotels in the area to stay and please feel free to do so, however this is the closet one and within walking distance, plus we have an absolute AMAZING rate just blocks from the beach! The DoubleTree Hotel is right next to the event site. $199 per night (grab some friends and split the cost)
